Botox Cosmetic

Botox is a neuromodulator for treatment of dynamic (active) wrinkles created as a result of repetitive movements such as frowning, smiling and squinting. Botox contains a neurotoxin that temporarily paralyzes the muscles involved in active expression. It can be used to smoothen the forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet and can prevent new wrinkles from forming.

Dysport

Dysport, like Botox is derived from a botulinium toxin and works by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to adjacent muscles. It is used to treat dynamic wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet), forehead, and wrinkles between the eyebrows (glabella). The downtime if any is minimal and result is visible in few days.

Fractional Resurfacing Laser

Fractional resurfacing laser provides skin rejuvenation for wrinkles, enlarged pores, fine lines, texture, and tone. It also has a role in treatment of surgical scars, stretch marks, skin pigmentation and melasma. Non-ablative fractional laser improves the appearance of skin by creating numerous microscopic zones of tissue injury. The skin surface remains intact allowing for rapid recovery of the ablated columns of tissue. The benefits are increase in collagen production with minimal downtime and recovery period.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

Intense Pulsed Light improves the appearance of sun-damaged skin by targeting pigmented and vascular lesions. It may be used in any parts of the body with solar damage to even the skin tone and discoloration. Depending on the severity of the symptoms, results can be seen in one to three treatments.

Juvederm

Juvederm is a synthetic dermal filler made of cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) particles, a natural substance in the skin that binds to water to smooth wrinkles and plump up cheeks and lips. It is most effective for wrinkles in the lower part of the face like marionette line, and nasolabial folds. It can be used for hollows under the eyes enhancing facial features, giving long-lasting, and natural-looking results.

Kybella

Kybella, is the first FDA-approved injectable that improves the appearance of submental fullness known as double chin. The main ingredient in kybella is deoxycholic acid, which is found naturally in human body and works by dissolving the membranes of fat cells. The broken fat cells gradually will be removed from the body through our natural lymphatic system. Kybella is a safe alternative to liposuction or surgery.

Latisse

LATISSE® (bimatoprost) Ophthalmic Solution 0.03% is indicated to treat hypotrichosis of the eyelashes by increasing their growth including length, thickness and darkness.

Microneedling

Microneedling is  a skin rejuvenating procedure that works by creating a multitude of microchannels in the skin using a specialized tip with fine sterile needles. The micro-injury from the needling serves to stimulate the new collagen production. The channels can be used to deliver the natural growth factors, PRP,  and Hyaluronic acid deeper into dermis, which further enhances the collagen stimulation. Outcome may continue to improve for up to 6 months after last treatment.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP treatment was initially used in sports medicine and chronic conditions e.g. arthritis and more recently in skin conditions such as acne scars, anti-aging and hair growth. PRP is a process where patient’s blood is drawn and spun rapidly in centrifuge for ten minutes so that platelet rich plasma separates from rest of the blood. PRP contains grow factors and powerful enzymes that draws stem cells to the area of trauma. The PRP may be injected in to the scalp for hair grow or into the skin for facial rejuvenation. The result is tissue regeneration through new cell proliferations and collagen production. For optimal result, PRP can be combined with other treatment such as fractionated laser or micro needling.

Restylane

Restylane is a Hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler for fine lines around the mouth as well as deep wrinkles restoring volume and hydration to the skin. HA is a natural substance of the skin, which is biocompatible and biodegradable. Therefore it doesn’t require any allergic testing prior to the injection. Restylane Silk and Restylane Lyft use more innovative technology, giving them a unique particle size for customized treatment. Depending on the area treated, most patients need one treatment that lasts approximately six months to one year.

Radiofrequency

Radiofrequency (RF) is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses electric-current-generated heat to stimulate collagen production to tighten and contour fine lines and laxity.  The RF machine uses a probe to build up heat and contract the dermis, ultimately improving the the wrinkles and fine lines. RF is a cutting edge technology for a non-surgical facelift which lasts for months.

Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable made of Poly-L-Lactic acid (PLLA) that stimulates the formation of new collagen in the skin and restores volume over time. Since it is diluted, it can be used in larger areas of face for deep wrinkles as wells as other body areas such as buttocks and breasts. It is ideal for patients who lost their cheek fat pads due to medication, genetics, or other systemic conditions. Treatment may require three to four sessions every four to six weeks, which leads to gradual collagen production lasting more than two years.

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy has been considered the gold standard of vein treatments for many years. The procedure involves injecting each venules or varicose veins with a sclerosing solution e.g. polidocanol or hypertonic saline. This irritates the lining of the vessels and eventually turns them into a scar tissue, which gradually disappears over time. Multiple treatments are needed for favorable results.

Voluma

The loss of midface volume is one of the hallmarks of facial aging. Voluma is the first FDA approved filler to restore age-related volume changes in the mid face that lasts up to 2 years. Voluma is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler and is unique as such HA is cross-linked through a process called Vycross. This special cross-linking helps to avoid degradation, making Voluma lasts almost twice as long as other fillers.
